Dr Michelle Constable
Michelle Constable is a Health Psychologist in Training based in the Public Health Service at Hertfordshire County Council and undertaking a Professional Doctorate in Health Psychology at University of the West of England. Michelle is currently leading on a number of county wide initiatives including physical activity for older adults and the self-management of long term conditions, which is also the focus of her research. Her work involves taking a strategic approach to embedding behavioural science within the work of local authorities both locally and nationally. She is one of the lead authors of the PHE strategy “Improving People’s Health: Applying behavioural and social sciences to improve population health and wellbeing in England” and a founder member of the Behavioural Science and Public Health Network.
