Behavioural Science Community for Wales online event: Exploring the intersection of systems approaches and behavioural science

Online event with over 80 colleagues which provided an opportunity for community members to learn, connect and share knowledge.

On the 18th June, over 80 colleagues from across the public health system in Wales attended our online event which provided an opportunity for community members to learn, connect and share knowledge. The event included a 101 on systems approaches and behavioural approaches, a series of applied examples demonstrating how the approaches can be used together in practice, and an interactive activity during break out discussions.

  • Case study 1 – A Fall-proof Gloucestershire. A whole system application of COM-B and the Behaviour Change Wheel to reduce harm from falls in older populations (Sarah Haden, Director of People and Partnerships, Active Gloucestershire).
